Glimpse of the weather ahead astrologically.

Good morning!

If you’ve been around me for more than a minute, you know my children mean the world to me. I wanted to share with you something you may not know about them.

When Rich and I started thinking about building a family 24 years ago, I planned it all out. I was a teacher at the time and wanted to have at least five to six months off with our babies before they went to child care.

Much to my husband’s surprise (and maybe a little to his chagrin), we got pregnant right when I was hoping—and 24 years ago this month, we found out about our first. It happened to be the same day my sister-in-love was graduating with her GED. It was such a fun little secret to carry on that beautiful day.

When we decided to have another, I was still teaching and wanted to try to plan it out the same way again.

Our kids were born three years and three days apart—both Aquarius Suns with Scorpio Risings (though they have different Moon signs).

Gemini season highlights where your thoughts and communication goes. Will you follow the breadcrumbs?

Tuesday is full of changeable energy—which feels like the perfect entrance into Gemini Season, if I do say so myself!

First, we have the Last Quarter Moon that we've been building toward all weekend long. It peaks at 29° of Aquarius. So, if you’ve been feeling tension between the old and the new, it may start to ease as the day moves on.

Just 30 minutes later… the Moon moves into Pisces. We get to feel this Pisces Moon in Taurus Season for a short 4.5 hours before the Sun shifts into Gemini.

Your intuition may be heightened over the next couple of days. There’s a lot of energetic movement happening as the planets continue shifting toward their next destinations, so knowing what helps you stay grounded—especially if you start to feel overwhelmed—can be really supportive. Pisces is a sensitive water sign, so if you find yourself tearing up, know that it’s completely okay.

Then, at 1:54 PM CT, Gemini Season officially begins!

Gemini is the third sign of the Zodiac and the first of the three Air signs. The simplest way to think of Air signs? Communication. How and when they express themselves is key.

Tuesday and Wednesday we have a Sagittarius Moon. Its all about optimism and having the personal freedom to decide things on your own.

Even though we’re officially in the changeable vibe of Gemini Season, today might feel a little calmer.

You may find yourself resting when needed—or getting delightfully distracted by birds chirping outside your window. It could be a lovely day to tap into your creativity, too.

The biggest challenge? Staying on task. If that’s a struggle for you (you’re not alone), try keeping a to-do list nearby to help keep you grounded and organized.

Thursday and Friday are all about what you can get done under this Double earth sky.

Being aware of your energy over the next few days will be to your benefit.

The Moon moves into Aries at 11:25 AM CT on Thursday and will stay there through Saturday morning. When the Moon is in Aries, we tend to act first and think second—and with the Sun now in Gemini, that impulsiveness can feel even more heightened.

Curiosity can absolutely be your friend… but maybe not caffeine. Why? This combo of Aries Moon and Gemini Sun can make some of us feel extra jittery. If that sounds like you, consider switching to decaf—or just sticking with one cup, like me!

Moving your body will help get that energy out, especially if you have kids bouncing off the walls. We’re also approaching the Balsamic Moon phase, so there won’t be much moonlight in the sky. This can sometimes lead us to run out of steam faster than usual—so be gentle with yourself.
