✨ June 9 - June 10, 2025
We start preparing for the Full Moon when she moves into Sagittarius at 9:55 AM CT on Monday, June 9. Sagittarius energy is all about freedom, expansion of ideas, and discovering what’s holding you back—so you can release it. You may notice a tug-of-war between seeing the big picture and tuning into how it affects you personally. That balancing act grows stronger as we move closer to the Full Moon, which peaks Wednesday while many of us are sleeping.
Since this is a fire moon, moving your body when you're feeling frustrated or stuck can help clear that energy.
The intensity turns up even more when one of the major astrology events of 2025 happens: Jupiter moves into Cancer at 4:02 PM CT. The first two big shifts happened earlier—Neptune entered Aries in March, and Saturn joined Neptune in May.
Jupiter is like the Santa of the zodiac—he wants to bring joy, blessings, and opportunities to wherever Cancer lands in your chart. He feels at home in both Cancer and Sagittarius, so his influence on this moon could amplify whatever you're ready to release even more. While he’s in Cancer, you may experience expansion in your emotional growth(hello, Cancer!) and inner wisdom.
The Cancer archetype is tied to your family of origin (or the one you choose), your physical home, and how you nurture yourself and others. If you’ve been wanting to explore inner child healing, this could be your year.
How this plays out for you depends on where Cancer is in your chart for the next 12–13 months. For example, in my chart, Cancer starts in my 3rd house and rules my 4th—so this journey will begin with communication and self-expression, and then move into themes around my family of origin.

When I look at this Full Moon's chart, it practically shouts: “Find your own path.”This is a beautiful moon to journal with the intention of discovering what feels true to you—because Sagittarius is all about Truth (with a capital T).
Here’s a simple technique to try:
The “5 Whys” Journaling Prompt
Identify the Problem: Clearly name the issue or feeling you want to explore.
Ask “Why”: Ask yourself why five times (or more!) to get to the root of it.
Record the Answers: Write each response as you go. You’ll notice a cause-and-effect chain begin to form.
Find the Root Cause: The goal is to dig past surface-level feelings and reach your deeper truth.
Reflect & Take Action: Once you uncover that core truth, ask: What do I want to do with this insight?
Since this is a fire moon, if you're ready to release something, try writing it down and safely burning it (if it's safe to do in your area). Fire moons love symbolic rituals like that.
This moon shines a lighthouse-sized beam of light on whatever is holding you back from moving forward.

As we close out the week, the moon moves into Capricorn, the no-nonsense sign of goals and structure.
Some astrologers say the Moon isn't especially comfortable in Capricorn—it’s more focused on getting things done than on emotional expression. That doesn’t mean you won’t feel things. It just means your emotions may show up through accomplishment, focus, and the quiet satisfaction of knowing you did a good job—even if it’s just for yourself.
It’s a great energy to wrap up your week and go into the weekend with your tasks checked off.
Fun fact! My husband has this combo—Gemini Sun, Capricorn Moon—and it’s actually his birthday on the 13th! He has the biggest heart and works so very hard too. I love that his favorite way to relax is to golf. Which for him is four to five hours walking in nature without distractions of his job in IT. Capricorn is an Earth sign after all so being outside is a great way to release any frustrations you may have
