Good morning!
As I shared in my Saturday Email
I hope the New Moon found you well!
Did you know that before I studied how to read birth charts, I always thought that New and Full Moons only happened at night—when she’s high in the sky. Am I alone in thinking that? I hope not!
I love it when the peak of the Moon happens during the day. It gives us time to sit beneath where she would be and really take in the energy.
That’s exactly what I did on Thursday.
I lit a candle, meditated under the New Moon, and wrote a letter to the Universe—sharing what I’m grateful for and what I’d like to call in with this moon cycle.
My hope for you during this Leo Moon cycle is that you, dear friends, shine as brightly as you’d like. The world needs that shine. We’re so lucky you’re here to share it!
P.S. If you didn’t get a chance to write a letter or do any New Moon rituals, Saturday is a wonderful day to do so!

✨ July 28, 2025
Monday can feel like a productive start to the week. If you came up with some creative workarounds this weekend, trying them out—or talking them through—today may feel really good.
Today, Venus will sextile Chiron. This may show up as feeling supported in your relationships. Since Chiron represents the wounded healer, especially from childhood, you may also feel supported on that healing journey, too. It’s a very compassionate aspect, and if nothing else, I hope you give yourself a little extra compassion today.
At 7:56 pm CT, we enter an almost 5-hour Void of Course window. If you keep a dream journal, tonight might be a great time to bring it to bed—your dreams may have something to share.
✨ July 29 and 30, 2025
The Moon moves into Libra at 12:43 am CT on Tuesday, setting us up with a desire to bring peace and harmony into our lives. I can imagine creative conversations flowing during this time. If you find yourself struggling to make a decision, lean on the Leo Sun to help you choose something that feels fun at your core—especially if it involves spending one-on-one time with someone you enjoy.
From 10:58 pm CT Tuesday through Thursday, July 31 at 12:24 pm CT, we’ll be in a 37.5-hour Void of Course window. Yes—that’s all day Wednesday! If Wednesday is shaping up to be a busy day for you, making a to-do list the night before could be helpful.
Wednesday is also a great day to slow down. Rest as needed—or even schedule a spa day if you can! At 10:57 pm CT, Venus moves into Cancer. Venus in our charts represents both relationships and resources. While she travels through Cancer, she’ll meet up with Jupiter and square both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. (Don’t worry—not all at once!)
This may lead you to reevaluate your relationships, money, and how they influence your home life. Tuning into emotional security will come naturally. As those alignments unfold, I’ll be sharing ways to work with them—and in Between the Moons, I’ll also offer insights into what area of your chart Venus will be moving through (by house or houses).
✨ July 31 and August 1, 2025
The Moon enters Scorpio at 12:24 pm CT on Thursday, setting the stage for the First Quarter Moon on Friday, August 1 at 7:41 am CT, at 9° of Scorpio.
Both the Moon and Sun will be in fixed signs, meaning they each want what they want—they just go about it differently. You may feel a tug-of-war between diving deep (Scorpio) and keeping things light and playful (Leo). That tension could build throughout Thursday and begin to ease as we move through Friday.
Thursday is also a great day to reflect on how Mercury Retrograde is going for you. We reach the halfway point officially at 6:41 pm CT, when Mercury sits at 9° of Leo. As we begin to move through the second half of this retrograde, don’t be surprised if more “aha” moments come through.
After Friday’s First Quarter Moon, Venus will square Saturn—and later in the day, Neptune. This combo may bring a spotlight to your relationships or finances (Venus), especially where boundaries (Saturn) or idealism (Neptune) are involved. You might find yourself asking how you want to love and be loved. If it feels like a lot, talking it over with a trusted friend or therapist may help. It is a Scorpio Moon after all—and Scorpio loves a deep, heart-to-heart conversation.
Until next week when the Full Moon shines its light on us all! 🌕
