It’s snowing here as I’m writing this to you. I always find snowfall peaceful — even when the world around us feels anything but.
The energy of the last few weeks may have left you feeling a bit like you’ve been tossed around. If that’s you, the most loving things I can recommend right now are simple ones:
❄️ Pause as needed
❄️ Rest when you can
❄️ Drink your water
❄️ Be on the lookout for glimmers
What are glimmers?
They’re the small sparks of joy — the moments that bring a little light, a little sparkle.
Each day in my Instagram stories (@srbstars, if you’d like to join me there), I share at least one glimmer I notice. It helps anchor me in hope when things don’t always feel hopeful. My hope is that it does the same for you.
And please remember:
❄️ You are brave.
❄️ You are strong.
❄️ You will get through this, too.

🌙 Reminder of the Void of Course Moon
On Saturday afternoon, we enter a 20½-hour Void of Course Moon from 3:36 pm CT Saturday to 12:06 pm CT Sunday. Since much of this window happens while we rest, paying attention to your dreams may offer meaningful insight.
Since it’s been a while since we’ve had one, here are a few gentle reminders:
✅ Great for:
Meditating
Finishing up existing projects
Taking walks
Resting or napping
Creating or revisiting a to-do list
🚫 Maybe skip:
Starting something brand new
Making major decisions
Being hard on yourself 🤪
✨ January 25| Taurus First Quarter Moon
The Moon moves into Taurus at 12:05 pm CT Sunday and will remain there until 2:54 pm CT Tuesday afternoon.
Under a Taurus Moon, we tend to work hard so we can savor what we’ve built. When things feel rushed or unsettled, this Moon can bring irritation or grumpiness. Taurus is soft, steady, and grounded — it prefers what is familiar, comfortable, and proven.
That’s where some tension may arise as we build to the First Quarter Moon at 10:47 pm CT tonight at 6° Taurus.
The Taurus Moon would love to keep things exactly as they are — the tried and true has always worked… or has it?
The Aquarius Sun gently (and sometimes not so gently) asks: Is it still working?
This First Quarter Moon invites us to look at systems — in our lives, our relationships, and our inner worlds — that may need adjusting so they can truly last.
Over the past week, we’ve already been given clues. Venus (relationships, finances, values), Mercury (mind and communication), and the Sun (ego and vitality) have all met with Pluto before the Last Quarter Moon. Pluto strips away what isn’t working — whether we’re ready or not.
The invitation now is quieter, but no less powerful:
Will we recognize what needs to change?
Will we take the next small, brave step forward?
If things feel hard, turn inward.
Be present with your body.
Listen to what it needs.
Rest when you can.
Nourish yourself with good food and water.
Notice what’s coming up and write it down — even if it doesn’t make sense yet.
Clarity often arrives later.
✨ Monday January 26| Neptune moves into Aries
Under this Taurus Moon, the bed may feel extra comfortable on Monday, and it may be a little harder to get moving. If frustrations surfaced over the weekend, they may begin to soften.
While productivity is possible Monday and Tuesday, the energy may also feel spacy, dreamy, or unfocused.
One of the most significant astrological shifts of 2026 happens today:Neptune moves into Aries, where it will remain for approximately 14 years, until around March 2039.
We had a preview of this energy from March 31–October 22, 2025, and now we step fully into this new chapter.
Neptune is a generational planet, so much of its influence shows up collectively — in culture, art, spirituality, and world events — unless it closely contacts planets or angles in your personal chart.
Neptune governs:
Idealism and imagination
Spirituality and devotion
Art, music, film, and photography
Dreams, fantasy, and intuition
Dissolving boundaries, confusion, and escape
Places of retreat or confinement, such as hospitals and monasteries
When Neptune is strong, the urge to escape can be tempting.
The question Neptune in Aries asks is deeper:
How do you want to initiate (Aries) and transform (Neptune) your spiritual life?
What inner knowing is asking to be trusted?
What needs to dissolve so your authentic self can emerge?
The last time Neptune was in Aries (1861–1875), we saw sweeping changes in spiritual practices and artistic expression. With today’s technological and cultural landscape, it will be fascinating to witness how this energy unfolds now.
If you have strong Pisces placements, or planets or angles in the early degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, or Capricorn, this shift may feel especially intense at first. The earliest days of this transit often feel the loudest.
If things feel overwhelming, reach out for support — a trusted friend, a therapist, or a grounded sounding board. Collaboration can help bring clarity when decisions feel foggy.
Within the Between the Moons community, I’ll be sharing which area of life this Neptune energy is highlighting for you personally.
A reminder to carry with you:
Planets don’t do things to people.
They offer energy — just as the Sun offers warmth. What we do with that energy is always our choice.
*I don’t personally view spirituality as religion.Spirituality is how you connect with God, Universe, or Source.Religion is a human-made structure used to practice that connection.
✨ January 27 and 28 | Taurus → Gemini
Tuesday can feel like a two-act kind of day.
We begin the morning under the Taurus Moon — the same grounded, steady energy we’ve been working with the past few days. At 11:57 am CT, the Moon enters an almost three-hour Void of Course period, lasting until 2:54 pm CT. If you can avoid making major decisions during this window, that may be supportive.
When the Moon moves into Gemini, curiosity becomes your best tool if things feel challenging. Staying open, asking questions, and allowing new ideas to surface is something that comes more easily for all of us under a Gemini Moon.
Also on Tuesday, Mars will meet with Pluto.
Mars in our charts represents our anger, drive, motivation, and determination. Pluto is the planet of deep transformation. Pluto has already asked us to examine how we feel about relationships and finances (Venus), communication and thinking (Mercury), and ego and identity (the Sun). Now, Mars helps us put it all together — and take action.
After all, Mars loves to move.
Here are a few ways this energy could show up:
• A deep dive into personal patterns where you do not feel empowered, along with an urge to reclaim your voice
• On the collective level, we may see innovations in technology, social movements gaining momentum, or challenges to systems and norms that no longer fit the times
This combination can also amplify intensity. If you notice obsessive tendencies, power struggles, impulsive decisions, or a desire to control others, those may be signals to pause. Establishing — or re-establishing — clear boundaries can be especially helpful here.
Astrologically speaking, Wednesday is much quieter, making it a good day to decompress, integrate, and reflect on the energy that moved through on Tuesday.
And remember:If things get hard, stay curious.
✨ January 29 and 30 | Gemini → Cancer
Thursday brings another two-act kind of day as we shift from Gemini into Cancer.
We enter a 2½-hour Void of Course Moon from 1:56 pm CT to 4:31 pm CT. If you’re able, it may be helpful to avoid major decisions during this window. (See earlier reminders above for supportive ways to work with a Void of Course Moon.)
While the Moon is still in Gemini, Mercury and Venus meet — a coming together of the mind and the heart. This alignment asks you to notice what truly matters to you. What feels most like you? What values want a voice right now?
This meeting happens at 4:17 am CT, so you may feel it building late Wednesday or even through your dreams as you sleep.
Once the Moon moves into Cancer, sensitivity may rise. Cancer energy is nurturing and protective, drawn to the comforts of home and emotional safety — ideally mothering, not smothering.
If you’re a parent, you may feel a pull to check in with your kids. For me, that looks like heading to my son’s indoor track and field meet on Friday to watch him do what he loves: weighted throw (hammer throw in the outdoor season).
If tears flow, know that it’s okay. Let them move.Listen to your intuition — it’s guiding you toward what needs your care and attention.
Emotions may feel bigger on Friday, especially if you’re out in the world and connecting with others. This Cancer Moon carries us into much of Saturday, and I’ll share more about that energy next week.
✨ Closing Thoughts for the Week
This week has carried us through fire, earth, air, and water — asking us to move, ground, question, and finally feel.
We were invited to release excess energy under the Aries Moon, examine what still works under Taurus, stay curious as Gemini stirred the mind, and soften into emotional truth as Cancer takes the lead.
If there’s one thread weaving it all together, it’s this:small, conscious choices matter.
You don’t need to have everything figured out.You don’t need to move faster than your nervous system allows. You’re being asked to notice what’s no longer aligned — and to tend gently to what is.
Rest when you can.
Stay curious when things feel hard.
Let your feelings inform you, not overwhelm you.
We’ll continue building from here
Until next week 🌙
