Good Morning!
If you feel like things are speeding up — yep, I am right there with you. We start this week with Uranus moving into Gemini and end it with the Scorpio Full Moon. So much to share in between.
Shall we get started?
Cosmic Weather for the Week - Expect the Unexpected + Full Moon Friday
A quick note on timing: all times listed are in Central Time (CT), since that's where I live. Please convert them to your local time zone as needed.
This is the full week in one place — something my Between the Moons Community and Substack receive every week. Why is everyone getting it this way this week? Uranus is a big deal, and I wanted to make sure everyone could see the full picture.

✨ April 25, 2026
Saturday could feel like a lot.
My best overall advice is to go with the flow as much as you possibly can and lean into laughter and the childlike joy we all still have inside of us when things get hard.
So, let's break it down, shall we.
First, the day may feel a little fuzzy to start. We are still within a 26 hour, 44 minute Void of Course (VOC) window that started Friday at 5:20 pm CT. You may notice intuitive hits, especially around your creativity — if you do, write them down. Likewise, you may have very interesting dreams as well. Long VOC windows can trigger those after all. Here are some reminders of what these long windows are perfect for:
✅ Great for: Meditating, finishing up existing projects, taking walks, resting or napping, creating a to-do list
🚫 Maybe skip: Starting something brand new, making major decisions, being hard on yourself 🤪
If you live in the Twin Cities, Art in Bloom is happening this weekend at the Minneapolis Institute of Art — that is our current plan and a great way to use the VOC time! This is a free event, though parking can be a challenge and is not free, so be patient.
Just before the Moon slips into Virgo, Uranus changes signs. Uranus is the "expect the unexpected" planet of the Zodiac — some call it the higher octave of Mercury. This means your thoughts and communications can open to a higher level, especially while Uranus moves through Mercury's sign, Gemini. We had a preview of this last year from July 7 through November 7, 2025. During that time ChatGPT was expanding rapidly and new forms of social media were emerging, just to name a few things.
Gemini is the sign that represents our mind, communication, siblings, and short-term travel. Uranus activates all of those and likes to mix them up and see what happens. For the last 7 to 8 years, while Uranus has been traveling through Taurus, we have seen shifts in our values, finances, how we approach relationships, and the dismantling of what is no longer necessary.
Change is not easy for Taurus.
Gemini, on the other hand, is an archetype that welcomes it. A strong Gemini person or transit can look like — squirrel, what is going on over there? — easily distracted by the shiny and the new.
This is an Outer Planet Transit, so we are most likely going to see these expect-the-unexpected moments play out in the headlines. Themes around authenticity, new and inventive ways to communicate, possible transportation disruptions, and shifts in collective thinking are all possible.
This is also normal for evolution.
If you have planets in the early degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, or Pisces you may feel this more personally. If you are wondering what it could look like for you, I invite you to try a 30 or 60 minute consultation with me depending on your needs. The "Link to All Things" has all the information.
Last but not least, the Moon shifts into Virgo at 8:04 pm CT. If you have anything left on the to-do list you created during the VOC window, now is a great time to dive in. More about that next.
✨April 26 and 27, 2026
Under a Virgo Moon in Taurus Season we have a Double Earth Sky.
This means it can feel very grounding and stable — and if we are pushed too hard or too fast, it can make us a little grumpy. Checking things off a list, on the other hand, will feel good! Maybe it's the day to start your spring cleaning? Only Mother Nature knows if the weather will cooperate with that though!
With Uranus moving into Gemini yesterday, just ahead of the Moon change, this will be the first interaction Uranus has in this new sign — and it is with the Moon. My best advice when the Moon is next to Uranus is to expect the unexpected in all things emotional.
Sunday we also have a beautiful angle that Venus and Neptune are making that could lend itself to idealism, rose-colored glasses, and a love of love. Neptune is said to be the higher octave of Venus, just as Uranus is of Mercury. So Sunday can feel like a very heart-centered day — especially around the things that matter most to you personally and how you communicate them. Being clear with your wants and needs in your conversations will be helpful too.
At 6:11 am CT Monday we will enter another long VOC window — this one 21 hours and 51 minutes. It can cause a foggy start to the day. Remember what I mentioned for Sunday though, and lean into that heart-centered energy — it may be just what you need. If you can avoid starting any new projects until Tuesday, that may also work in your favor.
In addition to the VOC Moon, we will have a beautiful angle from the Taurus Sun to the Nodes. If you have been wanting a boost of stabilization after the Aquarius Eclipse, this may give you some insight into how to make that happen for you. Leaning into your intuition may help as well. It may also shed light on what you want or need to release ahead of the Full Moon we will close the week with.
✨ April 28 and 29, 2026
The Moon shifts into Libra at 4:02 am CT, setting us up for a Venus-ruled sky. What does that mean? Well, both the Taurus Sun and Libra Moon are ruled by the planet Venus. That means your relationships, balance, harmony, resources, and finances may all be coming into focus over these couple of days.
Venus will be making a beautiful trine to Pluto on Tuesday. You may find a natural ability to create deep boundaries through honest connections — especially as it relates to intellectual intimacy and empowerment, as both of these planets are in Air signs. The Libra Moon puts a neat little bow on it as she makes her own beautiful connection with Venus and then Pluto. There is still that expect-the-unexpected vibe that can pop up from time to time, as well as the possibility of figuring out what energy is yours versus someone else's. Going with the flow is always the best way to work with that — and it seems to be the theme of the week, so why should today be any different?
Wednesday could find you at a crossroads around your relationships, spending habits, or values — or even asking you to choose between past habits and future growth, with a square from Venus to the Nodes. If you are noticing more things to release as a result, this Full Moon may be just what you need!
✨ April 30, 2026
We have another longish VOC window from 3:51 am CT to 2:01 pm CT, when the Moon will shift into Scorpio. Feel free to refer back to the advice from Sunday for how to work with this.
For those subscribed to my Between the Moons membership or Substack, the Full Moon guide will drop at the moment the Moon moves into Scorpio to help you prepare for the big event on Friday.
Under a Scorpio Moon we like to go deep. Deep with our conversations. Deep with intimacy. Deep with what really matters.
When I talk about the water signs I often use the image of a lake.
Cancer represents the "moms" on the beach reminding the kids to stay within the buoys and put on their sunscreen.
Scorpio is like the child underwater waiting to pounce — or a frozen lake. A lot is going on beneath the surface. You just have to decide to jump in.
Pisces, on the other hand, can be described as floating along the bottom just letting things pass by — or even the vapor that becomes fog.
This Full Moon will ask us to dive into our emotions and get honest about what needs to be released — because it is holding us back from the life we are wanting to create in this fertile Taurus soil.
Tears may come. That is okay. It's normal when the Moon is in a Water sign after all — whether they show up out of frustration or because you are in the presence of someone you really trust.
Moving your body may help too, as Mars rules this Moon and movement is always a good friend to have.
✨May 1, 2026
She is here.
The Scorpio Full Moon rises at 12:23 pm CT at 11° Scorpio, and she is not interested in small talk. This Moon asks you to go beneath the surface — to the root of what has been quietly running the show.
There is rare and powerful geometry in the sky today. A Yod — the Finger of Fate — is formed by Venus and Saturn pointing directly at this Full Moon, asking you to trust what you cannot fully see yet. Chiron, the Wounded Healer, sits alongside Mercury, shining a light on the thoughts and stories about yourself that are ready to be healed. And Mars square Jupiter reminds you that your drive is real and valid — just make sure your ambition is moving at a pace your energy can actually sustain.
This is not a Moon to rush through. Feel what comes up. Let the tears come if they need to. Move your body if things feel heavy. And if you have been doing the work this week — the releasing, the reflecting, the going with the flow — know that today is the payoff.
The Full Moon guide with the complete breakdown, reflection questions, mantra options, a 5 card spread and a Water & Earth release ritual is available now inside the Between the Moons membership and Substack.
Close today with this:
"I heal my mind, I trust the unfolding, I move forward with intention."
She is ready when you are. 🌕
✨ Until Next Week
What a week this has been — and what a way to close it.
We opened with Uranus moving back into Gemini, a sign it hasn't called home since the 1940s, shaking up the way we think, communicate, and move through the world. We moved through foggy VOC windows, heart-centered Venus energy, deep Scorpio waters, and a Finger of Fate pointing us toward something we may not be able to fully name yet — but can absolutely feel.
That is the invitation of this week, really. Not to have all the answers. Not to have it all figured out. But to go a little deeper than you did last week. To pay attention to what is rising to the surface. To trust that the seeds you are planting in this fertile Taurus soil — even the ones you cannot see yet — are already taking root.
The Scorpio Full Moon asked a lot of us. She always does. And if you showed up for it — even in the smallest way — that matters.
Rest this weekend if you need it. Your body will thank you.
I will see you next week. 🌕
