November 8-14| Mercury Retrograde Begins

With Mercury Retrograde starting this week it is a great time to reflect on things.

Good morning!

As I shared in my Saturday Email

What a beautiful Full Moon we had this week! With all the movable energy that followed, it feels like an anchor—something steady to remind us of what’s true and needed to stabilize each of us in our own unique way. Were you able to release some of the things that were stealing your peace? I know I did!

This week brings Mercury Retrograde starting on Sunday. We’ve been in this retrograde’s pre-shadow since October 21, so you may have already been getting breadcrumbs about what this one might be about for you. Feel free to use my 3-Step Retrograde Activation Mini Workbook to help you put it all together if you’d like! If you don’t have it yet, click HERE  and confirm your info to have it sent right to your inbox.

Now—on to the week ahead! 🌠

✨ Cont. November 9, 2025

Last Quarter Moon could have a sensitive start to the week.

At 1:01 pm CT on Sunday, November 9, Mercury will start his Retrograde in the sky. This is an optical illusion where it looks like he is moving backward due to his orbit around the Sun. This is also something that happens 3–4 times a year, and we will be okay! I have a 3-Step Retrograde Activation Mini Workbook that is free and easy to use to track your progress. You can grab it and learn more about retrogrades in general HERE

The area of life (house or houses in your chart) from 20° of Scorpio to 6° of Sagittarius is where this retrograde is taking place for you. This is your opportunity to do all the "re words": revisit, revise, re-evaluate, re-look, reflect—you get the idea. With this happening in Sagittarius and Scorpio, I feel like it is an invitation to feel out the big picture of things, figure it out inside to see how it feels true and authentic to you, then test it a little bit before going full tilt and diving in headfirst. In my Between the Moons Community I’ll share the area of life this interaction could be happening at the start and then again when he moves back into Scorpio.

Some dates to consider:

  • October 21: Pre-shadow begins at 20° of Scorpio

  • November 9: Retrograde begins at 6° of Sagittarius

  • November 18: Moves back into Scorpio

  • November 20: Halfway point in the Retrograde Cycle

  • November 29: Stations Direct at 20° of Scorpio

  • December 6: Leaves the Post Shadow

This is also the time to give yourself extra time should you be traveling, especially if going to foreign areas. Update your tech before Sunday, and so on. Remember, this is something that happens 3–4 times a year. We have done this before and will do it again…together!

November 10-11, 2025

Leo Moon in Libra season is super creative

Monday may feel like a two-act day. We start off under the Cancer Moon we’ve had since Saturday. There’s an expect the unexpected kind of energy to the morning, along with a possible emotional fuzziness. If that’s the case, try not to make any major decisions early in the day if you can help it.

Then, at 11:33 am CT, the Moon moves into Leo. The Leo Moon and Scorpio Sun are both Fixed signs, which means the Last Quarter Moon will be upon us.

The Leo Moon asks where we want to shine our light in the world and express our creativity. The Scorpio Sun, meanwhile, asks us to do it with intention—not just for show. Balancing the desire to be loud and proud about everything with the instinct to keep some things private can feel frustrating at times. The Last Quarter Moon peaks at 11:28 pm CT on Tuesday at 20° of Leo. If things feel challenging, keep it light—finding your joy and laughter can be the perfect remedy.

Before the Last Quarter Moon peaks, Jupiter will station retrograde at 25° of Cancer. Jupiter is the planet that likes to expand whatever it touches. Just like Mercury Retrograde, this is our time to re-evaluate—this time with a Cancer vibe. This cycle begins on November 11, 2025, and remains retrograde until March 11, 2026, initiating a period of reflection around emotional foundations, security, and family.

We also get to revisit what has unfolded in these areas since June 2025, when Jupiter first entered Cancer. You may notice thoughts arising around your finances or how to create more ease in your home–work balance. Because Jupiter is a social planet, his movement often shows up in collective headlines—unless this retrograde is directly interacting with one of your angles (AC/DC/IC/MC) or personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) within 2–3 degrees. The area of life this will affect depends on which house 25°–15° of Cancer falls in for you.

November 12-13, 2025

We end with a Gemini moon that may get us feeling chatty and wanting to be out and about.

Wednesday is another two-act day. If there was frustration from the Last Quarter Moon, you may start to feel it ease. In the morning, Mars and Mercury (currently in retrograde) meet up at 6° of Sagittarius. They last connected on October 20, just before the pre-shadow of this retrograde began. It may be interesting if similar themes from around that date are resurfacing now. If so, be sure to write them down! They’ll add to the retrograde story you’re crafting.

There’s a brief 22-minute Void of Course window before the Moon moves into Virgo at 5:51 pm CT.

This brings such a healing vibe—the Virgo Moon paired with the Scorpio Sun. The Virgo Moon asks us to sort through the details of what isn’t working, while the Scorpio Sun wants to fix it all and has the stamina to do just that. As we move into Thursday, you may notice challenges to your motivation or how you’re thinking and communicating. You could uncover ways to heal a relationship or even find solutions for your finances, too. It’s also possible your dreams have been sending you messages throughout these last few days of the week—so pay attention to what they’re showing you.

November 14, 2025

We end with a Gemini moon that may get us feeling chatty and wanting to be out and about.

We close out the week under this Virgo Moon, as she won’t move into Libra until 3:34 am CT on Saturday. If you have things you’d like to check off your list, this is a great combination to help you wipe the slate clean. There’s so much healing energy in the sky right now, making it easy to experience real breakthroughs if you’re open to them. 🌿.

🌕 Closing Thoughts

As we move through this week, remember that Mercury and Jupiter retrogrades aren’t here to make life harder—they’re here to help us realign with what truly matters. The skies are full of opportunities for reflection and healing if we’re willing to slow down and listen. Whether you’re feeling emotional under the Cancer Moon, seeking clarity during the Virgo Moon, or rediscovering your spark under Leo’s light, every shift this week is part of your growth story.

Give yourself grace, keep your heart open, and trust that what’s surfacing now is helping you prepare for the new beginnings just ahead. 💫

Until next week,
