Good morning!
As I shared in my Saturday Email
This past week we had many opportunities to rest, especially with the long Void of Course windows we had.
Rest can look like telling your body "I am resting now" while watching your favorite show. It can look like intentionally setting your device down to rest your eyes and mind. It can look like sleep — blissful sleep. I say blissful because I am in perimenopause and sleep has sometimes been elusive — if you know, you know!
What is your favorite way to rest? Maybe I can add it to my list to help others as well.
It is my hope that invitation was met as needed, because we have a lot in store this coming week — from the first New Moon post eclipse season, to the start of the Zodiacal Year with Aries Season and the Spring Equinox, to Mercury stationing direct!
For me personally, I love one particular day next week — March 17th, St. Patrick's Day. Our family treats it as a day when we intentionally connect over good food, play games, and have fun. Even though my children are now 24 and 21 we still celebrate it this way. At the bottom of this post I am sharing a link to the recipe we make every year — it can be made vegan if you wish, and the dessert can be dairy free as well. Recipes like this will be posted for free once a month on my Substack as a way to preserve my children's cherished favorites. Think of it as a digital recipe book that everyone can benefit from — sounds like fun, eh?
If you enjoy it be sure to subscribe there for free — you will have access to upcoming recipes and the intro to the Cosmic Weather as well. Paid subscribers unlock the New Moon and Full Moon guides plus the full Cosmic Weather all in one spot.

✨ March 16 and 17, 2026
Monday may feel like a two act day. We start with the Moon in Aquarius and carry the same reflective vibes from the weekend until 2:56 pm CT. At that point there will be a brief Void of Course Moon — a natural pause to wrap things up — before she moves into Pisces at 6:15 pm CT.
Once she does, we officially enter the Balsamic Phase of the Moon cycle. The quietest and most reflective time of the month, held within the most sensitive sign of the zodiac.
These two days leading up to the New Moon are perfect for reflecting on what you learned over the eclipse season we just experienced. You may notice intuitive hits throughout these days — pay attention to them. They are not random.
Mercury Retrograde will meet up with the North Node on Tuesday, which is perfect for thinking about your future plans ahead of the New Moon — just not quite acting on them yet. Why? Because Mercury is still in retrograde, this is prime time for planning and being thoughtful rather than rushing forward. They will continue to hold hands through March 24th, so there is plenty of time to let things percolate before Mercury starts moving forward again on the 20th.
✨ March 18, 2026
Today is the day, friend. The last New Moon of the zodiacal year arrives and she is bringing with her an invitation to dream, release, and plant seeds for what is next.
The sky is supporting this moment in a beautiful way. You are not doing this alone — the planets are conspiring in your favor today in ways both seen and unseen. Even if things have felt uncertain lately, there is structure holding you.
Venus and Jupiter are in conversation today as well, which may have you feeling the push and pull between what you want personally and what feels emotionally safe. Honor both.
Mercury is still in retrograde and sitting close to the North Node — your future path. This is less about acting and more about getting clear on what you truly want before Aries season arrives in just two days.
Take some time today to get still. Ask yourself what is wanting to be created through you. Write it down. Let it be big.

✨ March 19, 2026
Directly following the New Moon we entered a two and a half hour Void of Course window on Wednesday until 11:02 pm CT when she moved into Aries.
This is the bridge Moon — the one that carries us from the dreaming depths of Pisces into the bold beginnings of Aries. And you may feel that in your body today.
You may feel an urge for action (Aries Moon) as we close out emotional and reflective themes (Pisces Sun). Pisces Season is the last of the winter energy — it calls for rest and thoughtfulness. And then here comes the Aries Moon like a fire wanting to dance in the water — hence the picture I chose for this week's weather! Notice what cycles seem to be closing and what is itching to start.
This is also worth noting — Mercury and the North Node are still holding hands today. So while the Aries Moon may have you wanting to jump, the invitation is still to dream it before you do it. Let today be the bridge between the vision and the action. What is the dream you most want to bring to life?
✨March 20, 2026
Today is a big day on paper — but how we move through it matters.
We entered a 21 hour and 12 minute Void of Course window at 4:23 am CT this morning and she does not clear until 1:35 am CT Saturday.
That means the Sun moves into Aries at 9:45 am CT and Mercury stations direct at 2:32 pm CT — two major shifts — all happening under this Void of Course window.
So while the energy is absolutely changing today, the invitation is to feel it and receive it rather than launch into action just yet.
Since we have a significant Void of Course window today, here are a few reminders:
✅ Great for:
Meditating
Finishing up existing projects
Taking walks
Resting or napping
Creating a to do list
🚫 Maybe skip:
Starting something brand new
Making major decisions
Being hard on yourself 🤪
That said — do not let the Void of Course dampen the magic of what today is. The Sun moving into Aries is the Spring Equinox and the start of the zodiacal new year. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and the first of the three Fire Signs. Fire means action, movement, and yes — sometimes a little drama 🙃. After the quiet and reflective waters of Pisces Season this shift can feel like someone just opened a window and let the fresh air in.
And then there is Mercury stationing direct. After weeks of reflecting, revisiting, and replanning — Mercury is ready to move forward again. The clarity you have been searching for may start to feel more accessible. The plans you have been sitting with are getting ready to move. Just give it a few days to fully pick up speed before you go all in.
A little reminder as we step into this new season:
🌞 Our Aries Sun is our Chi and Life Force — and in Aries that energy is bold, bright, and meant to be seen. If you walk into a room and people notice you today, let them. You are meant to shine. In this life it is okay to be yourself and not follow — others will follow your lead.
🌙 Our Aries Moon is our emotions and inner world — and in Aries those feelings can run the full range from nervous energy to a deep and burning passion for life. There is a great drive to chase your dreams right now. Just remember that once you get there it is worth knowing what you want next to keep that beautiful momentum going.
🌅 Our Aries Rising is our Soul and what we are aspiring to become — and in Aries that soul is enthusiastic, direct, and refreshingly honest. They say what is on their mind — which can occasionally get them into trouble if the filter is not quite on! But the heart behind it is always to give their best and for that we love them.
Do you see yourself in any of this? I would love to know! 🔥🌙
The Aries Season overview goes even deeper inside the New Moon guide — including how Aries shows up in your chart, the themes of the 1st house, and what this season is personally activating for you. All of that is waiting for you inside Between the Moons or in the Substack. 🌙
🌙 Closing Thoughts
What a week it has been, friend. We moved through the quiet and reflective energy of the Balsamic Moon, planted seeds under the Pisces New Moon, and crossed the threshold into Aries Season and the Spring Equinox — all in seven days. That is not a small thing. Take a moment to acknowledge how much energy you have moved through this week alone.
Mercury is now direct — and that is worth celebrating. However we are entering what is called the Post-Retrograde Shadow period which lasts until April 9th. Think of this as Mercury finding his footing again. The plans and ideas that have been forming over these past few weeks are ready to be tested and explored — just not quite at full speed yet. The beautiful thing is that Mercury is still holding hands with the North Node, which means the ideas you are playing with right now have a direct thread to your future path. Use this time to try things on, see what fits, and trust what keeps calling you forward.
The river has become the fire. And you are just getting started. 🌙
