The New Moon peaks today at 2:11 pm CT at 2° Leo. It’s recommended to set your intentions after that time and into Friday.

The overall theme of this New Moon? Letting Yourself Shine.If you were ever told as a child that you were “a little too shiny,” this may be a powerful time to explore some inner child healing. Releasing those limiting beliefs could help you break old cycles. ✨

How you choose to shine in the world is completely up to you—just know that your light is worthy and needed.

This is a Fixed Fire Sign New Moon with Mercury Retrograde active throughout this lunar cycle. If you’re processing more internally than usual, this could be why.

Today the Sun opposes Pluto, which may bring up themes around balancing power dynamics. It could feel deeply transformational—or you might receive an “aha” moment that helps clarify what you’re calling in during this cycle.

The Moon remains in Leo all day (and most of Saturday), with a nearly 10-hour Void of Course Moon starting Saturday morning. If your Saturday is looking full, it may be helpful to do a little planning tonight.
