Good morning, dear reader! 🌙

The Solar Eclipse happened on Wednesday — and I happened to be outside when it was occurring and took this picture with my phone. Sitting under it felt so special and magical. Like a turning point. Did it feel like that for you? 🌑☀️

Thankfully the cosmos gave us plenty of time to rest and integrate it all with those longer Void of Course windows we were in. The last one was almost 43 hours and ended Saturday morning at 9:19 am CT.

I still feel an excitement — one could even say a magical energy — in the air. The best advice I can give you this week is to remain the observer. Observe what this energy is doing for you, with you, and in your community. As a collective it feel important. At least here in Minnesota it does. Does it feel like that for you too? 🌟

Deeper dive into Chiron 11 am CT Saturday August 22.

On Saturday August 22nd — the first day of Virgo Season — we will be diving into all things Chiron. He is the Wounded Healer in astrology and helps us understand what triggers or aspects of our younger selves may need to be healed or worked through. In addition to learning about Chiron I will be looking at the Virgo section of the chart for each participant. 🌟August 17-18, 2026| VOC Monday ➡ Scorpio Moon

After a busy weekend of checking in with all the planets, our Luna slips into a Void of Course period from 6:30 am CT to 4:45 pm CT on Monday. 🌙

With this being the start of the work week some things that could be helpful while she is resting are: making a to-do list to keep on track, rest as needed, finish up things that need to finish up.

It is not advised to start new things if you can help it or to be too hard on yourself. If you do need to start something know you may need to come back to it later on.

While the Moon is resting there is a beautiful moment between Mercury and Saturn that could lead to some creative insights on something you have been working on that may need a little tweaking. Venus and Jupiter are having their own beautiful moment right after — and it may be a great time to check in with a friend or collaborator to bounce some ideas around. ✨

Once the Moon slips into Scorpio we begin building toward the First Quarter Moon peaking on Wednesday. Scorpio is the second of our Water signs — and I always describe it like a frozen lake you have to choose to break through, or that kid at the pool who likes to sit underwater and pounce to scare you. 😄 If tears come — which they could under any Water sign — they may be coming from a place of frustration more than sadness.

You may feel this energy building on Tuesday as the Moon will interact with Pluto, Mars, and Jupiter — which can bring big feelings or even power struggles as a result. If that is the case, how can you create a win for both sides? Moving your body may also help get the energy moving and out. This energy could feel like it is building right into Wednesday with the First Quarter Moon peaking that day. 🌊

✨ August 19, 2026 | Scorpio First Quarter Moon

With this First Quarter Moon there could be a frustration or push — as First Quarter and Last Quarter Moons tend to do — toward wanting to speak your truth versus keeping things light.

Scorpio Moon does not do anything halfway after all. Leo Sun is looking for acknowledgment and applause while the Scorpio Moon wants loyalty and to feel deeply understood by the people in their lives.

If there are misunderstandings or mixed signals, talking it out may be helpful — even if the first instinct is to make a joke of it to lighten any tension.

There is real power in this duo though. The Scorpio Moon will help us figure out what needs to be fixed and the Leo Sun gives us the courage to tackle it so we can show up as our most authentic selves. We can be brave enough to do it all. 🦁🌊

Directly following the First Quarter Moon peak at 9:46 pm CT she will slip into a 5 hour, 44 minute Void of Course window — which could lead to some interesting dreams before she shifts into Sagittarius on Thursday. More about that next! 🌙

✨August 20-21, 2026| Sagittarius Moon

We close Leo Season under a double Fire sky when the Moon moves into Sagittarius. Both of these Fire signs love the freedom to be who they are and take pride in it — they just go about it differently. Leo is more heart-centered while Sagittarius is big picture focused. If things get hard, leaning into joy and finding ways to say yes to something may be helpful. 🔥

Thursday has elements of expect-the-unexpected energy — trying to figure out how to balance the big ideas with the smaller ones may help, along with staying curious. ✨

On Friday Venus will be opposite Saturn — which could feel like a push and pull between wanting peace and connection through Venus and checking in with your personal boundaries or emotional distance with situations or people through Saturn. If you have fears or insecurities around your self-worth this may come to the surface, and Saturn may be helping you figure out what you truly deserve to tolerate as a result. If the energy feels off, see if hanging out or getting together with a friend may help. Know that this is temporary — it is a transit that will be with us for just a couple of days. Having the honest conversations that are needed to address the elephants in the room may be more helpful than trying to brush them aside. 🌙

We have this Sagittarius energy through 3:59 pm CT Saturday when the Moon will move into Capricorn and Virgo Season begins. More about that next week! 🌙

We are sitting right in the heart of the Eclipse Portal this week — and the sky is reflecting that in every way. From Mercury and Jupiter expanding our ideas and creativity over the weekend, to the Scorpio First Quarter Moon pushing us toward honest conversations, to Venus opposite Saturn asking us to get real about what we truly deserve — this week is asking us to be present, pay attention, and trust what is unfolding. Leo Season closes out under a double Fire sky on Saturday as the Moon shifts into Capricorn and Virgo Season begins. The observer seat is the best one in the house right now. Take it. 🌑☀️🌙
