The Aquarius Full Moon
The Aquarius Full Moon rises at 9:35 am CT on Wednesday, July 29th at 6° Aquarius. Aquarius is an Air sign — the element of the mind. It is also a Fixed sign, which means it holds that element in place. Taurus is Fixed Earth, Leo is Fixed Fire, Scorpio is Fixed Water, and Aquarius is Fixed Air. If you were doing Box Breathing, it would be the “hold” part of that sequence. The question becomes — what words, what breath, what thoughts are you holding onto that are ready to be released? After all, Full Moons tend to invite a release of some kind — and with Mercury now moving forward as the only planet in a Water sign, it may feel a little detached at times and not overly emotional. 🌕
The Barbault Basket that peaked on the 19th is as much a part of this story now as it was then. Now Jupiter and the Sun are facing the Moon and Pluto across from each other. Oppositions in astrology are not bad — quite the contrary in my opinion. They form a tension that helps you identify what needs to be pushed and what needs to be pulled. I often compare them to an old Diamond Rio song — “Meet in the Middle.” There is a lyric that has always stayed with me: “We’d meet in the middle ‘neath that old Georgia pine.” That is it. That is the invitation of an opposition. Both sides walking toward each other, giving a little ground, finding each other somewhere in the middle. When we meet in the middle with this Full Moon we are right in the center of the Basket. Within this guide we will navigate it all together. 🌙
